1. If you have any problem, you need to go to your sop. If it is an emergency, you go to the sop in the room. |
2. The Ops are responsible for applying the room rules in a fair and just manner. The Rules are listed above. |
3. Ops are expected to be mannered, treat people with respect, remove rule breakers quickly and with little incident in the room. You are to keep the peace in the room, not to stir it into a rage. |
4. Ops will not take op/room business into the room. It is either to remain in private or in Op talk. |
5. Ops will not fight in Op talk, take it to private. If the disagreement cannot be settled, take it to your sop. The /ignore command works wonders. |
6. YOU ARE NEVER TO TAKE A FIGHT INTO THE ROOM, WHETHER IT BE WITH ANOTHER OP, OR A ROOM VISITOR. |
7. If you kick someone in error, (and we all do) you are expected to correct the manner quickly and politely. |
8. You are only to voice people you KNOW are female, or are a room visitor, like an IRCOP, OR SYSOP. The quicker you voice your friends, the easier the job will be for everyone in the room. |
9. Every Op in the room is expected to be voiced. We will do this in a systematic manner. Do not worry about this until your SOP talks to you about it. Your SOP will work with you on this matter. |
10. If you op with a script, which most of us do, you are expected to be able to handle, and control your script. The occasional accidental kick is expected, but continual kicks of other Ops will not be tolerated. Deop yourself, till you fix the script. |
11. Kicking another Op is not allowed. If it is accidental, it can be overlooked, but an explanation is expected. Kicking another OP unless it is a room emergency, (i.e.; they are mass kicking, or lost control of their program) will not be tolerated. |
12. Ops are expected to respect the room rules, even as they apply them. Every rule applies to the Ops also. If you need to log a complaint against another Op, go to your SOP. |
13. People will disagree with you, as you op, if they do so in private, unless they break the room rules, or disrupt the room, you are not to kick for personal reasons. |
